*This job requires relocation to the Concord, New Hampshire area. Relocation assistance is offered and the base pay is up to $200,000.

Our client is a design-build, builder developer with their own in-house architecture team. They work across New England in Multi-family, hospitality, industrial, office, retail and commercial sectors. With a diverse pipeline of work and a strong emphasis on client relationships, they have a strong pipeline of work for 2024 and 2025.

Description

Senior Project Manager - Builder Developer will be responsible for

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report regularly to senior management on financial performance.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of construction and craftsmanship. Conduct regular site inspections and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Proactively address challenges related to permits, regulations, and environmental factors.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative working environment and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing project updates, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the development process.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare comprehensive project reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Profile

The successful Senior Project Manager - Builder Developer candidate will have

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience
  • MBA or Master's Degree preferred, but not required
  • Degree in Construction or a related field required
  • Degree in Business or related will also be considered with construction or development experience
  • Strong communication skills - ability and desire to be client-facing
  • Knowledge of construction practices
  • Ability to work on jobs valued up to or north of $20M
