Sales Representative - Construction / Data Center - DFW

We're seeking a dedicated Sales Representative with a proven track record in sales within the Construction / Data Center sector, who's capable of making significant contributions to our clients growth. An ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of the construction industry and selling to Data Center clients. On top of that they need to be eager to excel in the Sales department.

Client Details

Our client is one of the largest Wire & Cable manufacturers in North America. They are actively seeking an Outside Sales Representative with experience in construction & Data Center builds in the Dallas Fort Worth Region.

Description

  • Hunting, cold calling, and booking in person client meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Identify potential leads and convert them into successful sales.
  • Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Stay updated with latest industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management.
  • Participate in sales meetings, product demonstrations and industry trade shows.
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and ensure timely resolution of any customer issues.

Profile

A successful 'Sales Representative - Construction / Data Center' should have:

  • Proven sales experience in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in sales in Construction / Data Center builds is highly sought after.
  • Outside sales experience including cold calling, client acquisition, onsite meetings and pitches.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed.
  • Relevant education or equivalent work experience.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of $58,500 - $71,500 + commission.
  • 60% travel but all in the DFW region - so someone in the area should be able to get to clients and back home most days.
