AP Specialist

This candidate will responsible for processing and verifying invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. They also will be maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing activities.

Description

• Handle basic accounts payable tasks and related reconciliations
• Carry out a purchase order posting & balancing, resolve problems with purchase orders, address issues with charges
• Monitor and enter expenditures, verify account balances to rectify inconsistencies in records
• Assist with reviewing of expenses as assigned
• Maintains all records, files, and backup documentation related to accounts payable
• A/P, GAAP, GL Accounting, Microsoft Office, Moveware - Internal computer system
• Assist Finance team with other tasks as needed when time allows

Profile

• Excel at organization and problem solving with strong time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
• Great analytical skills
• 1 to 3 years of accounts payable experience
• Demonstrates ability to work to deadlines
