CNC Manufacturing Engineer - Worcester, MA
My client is seeking a full-time, on-site CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in the Worcester, MA area. This role involves programming CNC machines using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, and collaborating closely with production teams to ensure efficient and accurate fabrication processes.

My client is a full-service metal fabrication shop specializing in custom steel and stainless steel projects. Operating out of a facility in Central New England, they offer a comprehensive range of services including machining, thermal stress relieving, blasting, and coating. Conveniently located near major transportation routes, they provide a true 'one-stop' solution for metal fabrication needs.
Description
The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will:
- Develop CNC programs using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD based on blueprints and technical specifications
 - Interpret engineering drawings and CAD files to create precise machining instructions
 - Partner with machinists and fabricators to streamline production workflows
 - Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
 - Support routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting
 - Work with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements

Profile
A successful CNC Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Strong background in quality control and project management
 - Solid understanding of welding and machining practices
 - Experience in mechanical engineering and fabrication environments
 - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
 - Effective team collaboration and communication abilities
 - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
 - Familiarity with AISC and MASS DOT standards is a plus
