Description

The role involves leading NetSuite ERP financial initiatives, including system design, implementation, and enhancement projects, to optimize financial operations. The individual ensures the platform is properly configured to support core business processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, and budgeting. By collaborating closely with the finance team, they address business requirements, identify gaps, and provide functional solutions that align with accounting standards and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the technical configuration, integration, customization, and automation of the NetSuite platform, ensuring it aligns with organizational financial objectives. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, the individual implements scalable solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and operations. Cross-functional collaboration is key, as they work with departments like procurement, sales, and operations to ensure seamless NetSuite integrations meet overall business and technical requirements. Responsibilities also include ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing upgrades, patches, and vendor relationships. Furthermore, they develop and oversee financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate data for decision-making. To facilitate successful system adoption, they lead user training sessions and create detailed documentation for end users and technical teams.

Profile

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, with a master's degree or relevant certifications such as NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant considered a plus. They must have at least 5 years of experience in a techno-functional role working with NetSuite ERP, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Proven experience in leading ERP implementations or upgrades, particularly with finance modules, is essential. Technical expertise should include proficiency in NetSuite ERP, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and integration knowledge between NetSuite and other enterprise systems like CRM and HRIS. Familiarity with database management, SQL, and financial software solutions is also required. Functionally, the candidate should have a deep understanding of financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting, along with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions while effectively managing stakeholder expectations. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively across departments.
