Project Manager - Commercial - Needham, MA

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of ground-up and tenant improvement projects while working with a respected firm that values long-term career growth.

Description

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Utilize Excel and Bluebeam for project documentation and reporting.
  • Conduct site visits and maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve project challenges proactively and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Profile

A successful Project Manager - Commercial should have:

  • Experience: 3+ years of true Project Manager experience in construction.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam; strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Attributes: Driven, organized, and adaptable with a collaborative mindset.
  • Background: Mixed project experience preferred; ground-up construction experience strongly desired.
  • Location: Must be commutable to Needham, MA; occasional site visits required.
  • Work Schedule: Initially in-office; hybrid flexibility offered after tenure.
