Description
- Serve as Voice of the Customer (VOC) to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with specifications.
- Review and analyze customer requirements to meet quality expectations.
- Evaluate quality processes and implement changes to improve standardization and consistency.
- Provide training and support on quality control and continuous improvement methods.
- Effectively manage tasks in high-pressure situations while maintaining quality.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure confidentiality of customer data.
- Build effective interpersonal relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist Quality Manager with onboarding and employee development.
- Promote customer requirement awareness throughout the organization.
- Review purchase orders for compliance with quality standards and cost impact.
- Manage quality requirements flow-down for customer orders and manufacturing.
- Identify and communicate quality system needs for strategic planning.
- Oversee internal audit process, including scheduling and training of auditors.
- Perform statistical analysis to monitor quality metrics and achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in quality processes to support organizational objectives.
Profile
- Associate's degree in Business, Quality, Applied Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of Quality Engineering experience OR ten (10) years of hands-on Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Industry-recognized Quality certifications preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to work odd hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
