Quality Manager | Foam
This is a fantastic Quality Manager opportunity with a Family-Owned company right near O'Hare. The ideal candidate will run the quality team, manage the QMS, and ensure readiness for audits and daily QA/QC activity.
Client Details
My client is a family owned and operated custom manufacturer in the Adhesive, Polymer, Rubber, and Foam space for over 75 years. They service customers in nearly every industry and have seen growing business opportunities recently and into the future. They are looking to bring on an experienced Quality Manager to help make an immediate impact and continue to drive exceptional quality in all they do.
Description
- Manage the QMS and make improvements where feasible
- Prepare and execute ISO9001 Audits - Internal/External
- Manage all PPAP documentation
- Manage all inspection processes and testing
- Oversee and handle all QA/QC activity
- Work cross-functionally with production, purchasing, quoting, and aftermarket support
- More duties as assigned
Profile
- 5-10 years in Quality/Manufacturing - Management/Supervisory experience not required
- Proven ability to maintain and improve QMS/Quality Systems
- Extensive experience in Core Tools - PPAP/APQP, FAI, GD%T, Etc
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and surrounding audits/certifications - Lead Auditor Certification a plus
- Experience in multiple industries - Non-Metallic Manufacturing preferred
- Experience in Foam/Sealants/Polymers/Adhesive manufacturing a huge plus
- Custom manufacturing - High Mix Experience
- Drive to learn and expand skill sets
- Comfortable in a smaller manufacturing environment
Job Offer
- Salary up to around $105,000 depending on experience
