Estimator | General Contractor
The Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring timely and competitive bidding. This position requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of construction processes and materials.

Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on project plans and specifications.
- Analyze project requirements and collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the scope.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Assist in developing project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs for future reference and analysis.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, construction materials, and labor costs to maintain competitive estimating practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any questions or concerns regarding project estimates.

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate project requirements and costs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
