Description

  • Organize and oversee estimating activities for assigned projects
  • Compile complete estimates under the supervision of the Director of Pre-Construction
  • Cultivate relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Mentor and coach Estimators within the Building Group
  • Lead preconstruction meetings and provide meeting minutes
  • Review and refine budgets, bids, proposals, and summaries
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding value engineering and budget updates
  • Provide drawing reviews for constructability and value engineering
  • Develop and improve estimating procedures

Profile

The Senior Estimator will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 10years of experience in competitive bid and conceptual budgeting
  • Thorough knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, and regulations
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software (On-Screen and Timberline a plus) and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with strong organizational and time management skills
