Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper
Our client, an innovative events company based in Manhattan, is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist/Bookkeeper. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate will be immediately available to start a new role.
Client Details
Premier event company based in Manhattan. This role is 5 days per week in office and offers a chance to work independently on a small team recording daily sales receipts and receivables.
Description
This role will involve:
- Record receivables
- Recording daily sales receipts and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks.
- Working independently utilizing their expertise in Quickbooks.
- Analyze what has been done and continue the work or make any necessary corrections to the process.
- Creating invoices, receiving payment and recording deposits
- Reconciling bank accounts (recording of expenses and deposits)
- Set up General Ledger accounts for receivables
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- HS Diploma or completed Associates'/Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, and posting daily sales receipts
- Bank reconciliation experience
- Ability to work autonomously
