Construction Superintendent | Stamford, CT
This Superintendent position offers the opportunity to oversee high-impact public and multi-family construction projects throughout Connecticut. The role is long-term and ideal for a leader who wants stability and a clear path to growth.
Client Details
The client is a well-established general contractor with over 40 years of success and a reputation for integrity, team collaboration, and delivering on public and institutional projects. Their backlog includes municipal buildings, airport infrastructure, university facilities, and residential developments.
Description
Supervise and coordinate all trades on-site from start to finish
Maintain daily logs, track progress, enforce safety regulations (OSHA 30), and update schedules
Attend project meetings and collaborate with PMs, clients, and design teams
Ensure timely delivery, jobsite quality, and compliance with drawings/specs
Maintain accurate as-builts, safety reports, and close-out documentation
Manage project schedules using Procore, Microsoft Office, and other tech tools
Serve as point of contact between subcontractors and all stakeholders
Profile
Has 10+ years of experience leading commercial and/or multi-family projects
Brings experience in public work such as schools, civic buildings, or infrastructure
Is tech-savvy with strong knowledge of Procore, Excel, and scheduling software
Demonstrates a long-term mindset and steady work history (no jumpy resumes)
Reads and interprets architectural and engineering drawings confidently
Has strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
OSHA 30 certified; high school diploma required (degree a plus)
Job Offer
Competitive salary: $100,000 - $135,000
