Quality Control Manager
The Quality Control (QC) Manager oversees product-oriented quality control activities to ensure that finished goods meet established specifications and standards. This role is critical in supporting product release processes, managing quality control laboratory operations, identifying defects, addressing and resolving product non-conformances, and ensuring proper root-cause investigations and effective corrective and preventive actions.

Description
• Lead the quality product release process including incoming inspection, laboratory testing, product release and product nonconformance management, resolution and disposition.
• Review and approve investigation, deviations, and nonconformance reports. Ensure implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Support timelines for new formulations and materials, ensuring quality inspection standards and requirements are communicated and transferred to ensure readiness for production.
• Oversee quality laboratory equipment and instrument management and ensure lab hygiene and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage the product retain program and retain room operations.
• Evaluate consumer complaint samples and maintain product master standards.
• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) system ensuring full utilization for documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), CAPAs, inspections, audits, etc.
• Develop and implement current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and quality-related training programs for staff.
• Provide coaching, feedback and performance evaluations for QC team members.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and compliance and to drive improvement.
Profile
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering discipline, or a relevant combination of education and work experience
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in a quality role within the cosmetics industry or similar
• Experience leading a quality laboratory or robust quality inspection control program
• Experience in driving nonconformance management
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team of technicians
Knowledge:
• Understanding of quality systems and cosmetics cGMP compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 22716, MoCRA)
Skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in using QMS software
• Experience with quality competencies such as AQL, root cause analysis, and CAPA management
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from $99,000 to $120,000 USD annually.
