Design Engineer - Industrial Manufacturing - Manchester, NH
The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing molds and related tooling to support manufacturing operations. This role involves creating conceptual layouts, detailed engineering drawings, and managing tooling processes from start to finish. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate production.

Description
The Design Engineer will:
- Develop conceptual layouts for molding machine components and complete machine designs.
- Create detailed engineering drawings based on conceptual layouts.
- Process engineering change authorizations for tooling and assembly drawings.
- Manage and maintain bills of materials and tool setup sheets for molds.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing departments.
- Coordinate tooling purchases with external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with design standards and quality requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Profile
A successful Mold Design Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering (preferred).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in mold design and development is a plus.
