Financial Analyst

This role supports the Corporate Finance Team with consolidation systems, financial forecasting, and the general ledger for the East Penn entity. The position is responsible for maintaining existing processes within OneStream and Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, while also assisting in the implementation of new or updated solutions.

Description

• Partner with global Accounting and FP&A teams to support and manage OneStream processes, including period-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidated financial reporting, with potential to extend to account reconciliations and other platforms.

• Collaborate with the East Penn Entity Accounting Team to oversee and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central activities, including period-end close, master data management (e.g., general ledger account setup, project configuration, user access and permissions).

• Maintain system metadata, ensure data validation, and uphold data governance standards.

• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate manual financial processes.

• Provide end-user support, lead system training, and coordinate user acceptance testing.

• Participate in an on-call rotation, offering user support via phone and a shared inbox.

• Contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, reliable, and efficient technical solutions.

• Manage all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) as needed.

• Oversee system monitoring and routine maintenance tasks in OneStream and Dynamics 365, including planning and executing software upgrades in coordination with Accounting and FP&A.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve system issues and implement product enhancements.

• Serve as a liaison between finance teams (corporate and regional), IT, and external support to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.

• Support ongoing improvements to the monthly close process at both the entity and consolidated levels to enhance timeliness and accuracy of reporting.

• Leverage financial analytics tools such as Power BI and Qlik to create insightful dashboards and reports.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience supporting financial systems such as OneStream and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Strong knowledge of accounting processes including period-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting.

• Experience with data management, metadata governance, and system administration.

• Proficiency in financial analytics tools like Power BI and Qlik.

• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and system upgrade processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations.
