Product Engineer - Industrial Automation - Weymouth, MA

This role offers the opportunity to design and develop innovative industrial packaging equipment from concept through production in a collaborative, hands-on engineering environment. The Product Engineer will lead product development efforts, support cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in design, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Description

This Product Engineer will:

  • Design, develop, and test products to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and quality standards.
  • Analyze product data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for products and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into product development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during product lifecycle stages.

Profile

A successful Product Engineer should have:

  • A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven success leading product development and supporting sales and service teams.
  • Strong CAD proficiency and ability to manage design documentation, costing, and planning.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.
  • Experience with fluid handling or liquid filling systems (a strong plus).
  • Ability to lead projects from initial concept to production release in a dynamic environment.
  • Interest in continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends.
