Our client is seeking a driven Project Manager to oversee large commercial projects in the Milwaukee area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with various stakeholders, and leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Our client is a leading general contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality commercial projects across greater Milwaukee. Their projects range in scope from twenty-million to fifty-million generally, and they have created a reputation for exceeding client's expectations. The company has embedded themselves in the Milwaukee market and have a deep understanding of the local construction industry.

Description

  • Oversee large-scale project schedules, coordinating with internal and external design teams.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Ensure design feasibility by working closely with in-house architects and external consultants.
  • Facilitate communication between construction teams, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Lead large, cross-functional construction teams, including multiple subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with complex building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct high-level quality control to meet design specifications and company standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, managing expectations and concerns.
  • Identify risks across large projects and implement strategies to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
  • Oversee large-scale procurement and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Manage significant scope changes and coordinate major design revisions.
  • Prepare detailed project reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in large commercial projects.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets ranging from 20 million to 45 million.
  • Highly intelligent and driven with a passion for excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards, including OSHA and local building codes.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Procore, PlanGrid, or MS Project, is preferred.
  • Professional certifications, such as PMP, LEED, or CCM, are preferred.
