My client, a CNC machining manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead their quality department. My client is a CNC machining manufacturer specializing in services such as turning, milling, threading, and drilling, serving industries including industrial, hydraulic, medical, aerospace, and electronics. Operating within a tight-knit job shop environment, they boast over 30,000 sq. ft. of advanced machinery and provide excellent opportunities for growth and advancement. Despite being a smaller company, employees benefit from direct mentorship by the President and Owner, both of whom bring extensive industry expertise.

Description

• Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee daily quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and measurement processes.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and products to identify improvements and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor quality control personnel on quality assurance procedures, product specifications, and measurement techniques.
• Collaborate with suppliers to define quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and certifications.
• Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in quality control practices, incorporating best practices into the organization.

• Gage calibration experience

Job Offer

• Salary range between $75,000 - $85,000
• 2 weeks PTO
• 401(k) matching up to 6%
