My client, a CNC machining manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead their quality department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills while working directly with the President and Owner, providing valuable learning experiences and potential for career growth.

My client is a CNC machining manufacturer specializing in services such as turning, milling, threading, and drilling, serving industries including industrial, hydraulic, medical, aerospace, and electronics. Operating within a tight-knit job shop environment, they boast over 30,000 sq. ft. of advanced machinery and provide excellent opportunities for growth and advancement. Despite being a smaller company, employees benefit from direct mentorship by the President and Owner, both of whom bring extensive industry expertise.
Description
- Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Oversee daily quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and measurement processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and products to identify improvements and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor quality control personnel on quality assurance procedures, product specifications, and measurement techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers to define quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and certifications.
- Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in quality control practices, incorporating best practices into the organization.

Job Offer
- Salary range between $75,000 - $85,000
- 2 weeks PTO
