Process Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing - Braintree, MA
The Process Engineer will join the Plant Operations group and report directly into the Senior Operations Manager. In this role some of your responsibilities will include troubleshooting problems that come up on the manufacturing floor, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the plant is functioning as efficiently as possible.

Description
The responsibilities of the Process Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with technicians and operators to resolve plant process issues.
- Creating and maintaining process and procedure documentation, as well as training materials for operators.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring effective communication and execution of management of change procedures.
- Supporting the commercialization of new products and processes.
- Utilizing statistical process control techniques to measure product quality, process capability, and yield.
- Enhancing process efficiencies, including first pass quality, productivity, and safety.
- Coordinating plant support by collaborating with R&D on new products from inception to full production handoff.
- Investigating causes of downtime and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
Profile
The successful Process Engineer will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Chemical Engineering preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or the chemical processing industry preferred
- Experience with chemical processes, experience working in a hazardous environment is preferred
- Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid flow, pumping, piping, and instrumentation.
