Our client is seeking a Civil Construction Estimator with at least 10 years of experience, specializing in water, sewer, and drain takeoffs, as well as expertise in demolition and deep foundation projects. The role involves creating detailed cost estimates, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing the estimation process, reporting directly to the VP of Preconstruction.

Description
Civil Construction Estimator - Leading GC - Bridgewater, MA - Responsibilities
- Review construction plans and documentation to create precise estimates for time, costs, materials, and labor.
- Prepare detailed estimates to assist in vendor and subcontractor selection.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and other departments to develop estimates and resolve issues.
- Discuss cost estimate adjustments with engineers, architects, owners, and subcontractors.
- Evaluate RFIs and addendums, and attend pre-construction meetings.
- Present cost estimates to clients and oversee all aspects of the estimation process.
- Analyze previous project costs and metrics to identify discrepancies.
- Develop comprehensive scopes of work and bid comparison sheets.
- Organize and lead meetings with oversight from senior management.
