Senior Accountant
Our client is a market-leading fresh produce company offering over 50 kinds of organic produce. They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their dynamic farm accounting team.

Description
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Develop and maintain standard costing models for all products
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Conduct regular cost reviews and cost analysis to ensure accuracy and identify trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and finance to gather relevant cost data
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to inventory and cost of goods sold
- Prepare and present cost reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Participate in inventory management activities including inventory valuation and physical inventory counts
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

- $75,000 - $95,000

Job Offer
- Four-year Accounting Degree required from an accredited College/University
- Three to five years of experience in related Farm Accounting environment or Food Manufacturing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be analytical, organized, detail oriented
