SCA Superintendent | Brooklyn, NY

We're seeking a Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects for the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA). This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to lead critical public sector education projects that directly impact the city's infrastructure.

Description

• Supervise all field operations from start to finish, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain efficient workflows.

• Enforce site safety, compliance, and SCA-specific regulations.

• Manage daily reporting, inspections, and project documentation.

• Lead and mentor field teams, ensuring strong communication and execution on site.

Profile

• Minimum 5+ years of superintendent experience with NYC public agency projects, ideally SCA.

• Strong knowledge of ground-up and renovation work in occupied or urban school environments.

• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and schedules simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• OSHA certification and familiarity with SCA standards are preferred.
