Logistics Manager

The team is looking for a Logistics Manager to join the team to maximize the efficiency and productivity the logistics network located out of the Amelia Court House, VA organics depackaging facility. In this position you will work closely with the Operations and Sales teams to streamline workflows, improve throughput and increase profitability!

Client Details

My client is a leader in the renewable energy space and a premier anaerobic digester developer/owner/operator in the United States. They are a closed-loop anaerobic digestion process converts organic waste and cow manure into green electricity or renewable natural gas as well as other related 'value-added' products.

Description

• Builds and maintains internal relationships with key Operational and Sales professionals.
• Builds and maintains external relationships with customers, drivers, haulers, and end sites.
• Hires and manages internal drivers.
• Runs drivers and routing efficiently to maximize profitability while ensuring top tier customer service.
• Manages and maintains internal fleet and equipment.
• Create solutions to streamline the process, improve efficiency and drive profitability.
• Maximize throughput of volume into both our depacking and AD locations.
• P&L responsibility for business unit.
• Responsible for managing waste both inbound and outbound.

Profile

• History of excellence in operational / logistics / transportation arenas
• Have excellent problem-solving skills in real-world scenarios.
• Management experience
• Have experience in improving efficiencies and increasing profitability.
• Communicate clearly and have strong interpersonal skills.
• Adeptly manage customer relationships.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies.
