Machine Shop Estimator - Parts/Projects - Onsite - Omaha
- Price estimation of all machine and fabrication parts and projects
- Problem solve with your team and customers on creative solutions

Description
- Determine manufacturing steps/processes, equipment requirements, programming requirements, set up operations, material, labor, and other items necessary to perform work
- Calculate production costs using labor, raw material, and processing price estimates
- Prepare formal price quotes for sales and customers
- Effectively communicate with sales and customers on proposals, quotations, and projects
- Using creativity and problem solving with quoting customer specific projects
- Assist with researching and purchasing project specific materials
- May have other duties assigned or required
Profile
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with the machining and fabrication of different types of materials
- Previous work experience in an estimating role is a plus
- Experience in reading, analyzing, and understanding technical specifications, drawing, bills of material, and process specifications, quality documentation, and associated documentation is a plus.
- Knowledge of the types of tooling required for specific applications is a plus
- Experience with purchasing is a plus
