Description

• Determine manufacturing steps/processes, equipment requirements, programming requirements, set up operations, material, labor, and other items necessary to perform work
• Calculate production costs using labor, raw material, and processing price estimates
• Prepare formal price quotes for sales and customers
• Effectively communicate with sales and customers on proposals, quotations, and projects
• Using creativity and problem solving with quoting customer specific projects
• Assist with researching and purchasing project specific materials
• May have other duties assigned or required

Profile

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with the machining and fabrication of different types of materials
• Previous work experience in an estimating role is a plus
• Experience in reading, analyzing, and understanding technical specifications, drawing, bills of material, and process specifications, quality documentation, and associated documentation is a plus.
• Knowledge of the types of tooling required for specific applications is a plus
• Experience with purchasing is a plus
