Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to meet project deadlines.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records, including project schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs (Request for Information).
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, prepare cost reports, and assist in cost control measures to keep projects within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Visit sites as needed with the Project Manager or in lieu of the Project Manager
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and safety standards.
Profile
The ideal Assistant Project Manager will have:
- 3+ years of project management experience (working for a General Contractor)
- Commercial construction experience
- Procore experience
- Familiarity with standard Construction processes - preferably on ground-up high-value projects
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred or relevant experience
- Design Build Experience highly preferred but not required
Job Offer
The Assistant Project Manager will receive:
- Base salary between $85,000-$100,000
