One of their business units is a leading supplier in their niche and are actively searching to identify a new Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team due to an internal promotion.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will act as a local business partner and work cross-functionally with various departments by providing analysis on each team in order to make key strategic business decisions and deliver profitable growth. Description
Senior Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Provides financial support to various departments such as the operations and R&D teams, which includes cost trends/improvements, profitability analysis, special projects, and more.
- Manages the inventory analysis and work with customers & suppliers.
- Maintains internal controls to ensure the accuracy of the financials.
- Works closely with the Accounting team and completes month-end journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, analyze variances, and complete bridge schedules and spending analyses.
- Works with cross-functional teams to develop and improve KPIs.
- Assist with Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan financial modeling.
- Creates process improvements to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Other ad hoc analysis request as needed.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry or relevant industry
- Inventory analysis a huge plus
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Strong business partnering and communication skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on results
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
