Project Engineer

Description
Support the Project Manager with preconstruction activities, permitting, and contract execution.
Create and manage submittal logs, RFIs, and procurement tracking.
Assist in maintaining project schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and subcontractor work.
Coordinate with field teams to resolve design conflicts and manage changes.
Participate in weekly OAC meetings and track action items.
Maintain up-to-date construction documents and drawing sets.
Ensure quality control and compliance through regular documentation and site visits.
Contribute to punch list walks and project closeout deliverables.
Profile
The right candidate has 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction, either as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, and holds a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. They're detail-oriented, organized, and eager to take ownership of their work. They're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools is preferred. Above all, they're curious, coachable, and excited about growing their career in the field of commercial construction.
