Description
- Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager
- Assist the Estimator, APM, and the Project Manager throughout the bidding and buyout process, including outreach to subcontractors and preparing bid evaluation sheets
- Draft subcontracts and purchase orders for the Project Manager to review
- Collect and draft requests for information for the Project Manager to review
- Generate and maintain RFI Log, Submittal Log, and PCO Log
- Communicate with architects, engineers, and others to clarify scope of work, budget, schedule, and compliance requirements, and document these clarifications
- Assist the APM with the change order process
- Assist the APM with maintaining the project schedule
- Assist the APM with preparing all pay applications, payee lists, and job cost reports
- Coordinate with the Director of Project Accounting to ensure efficient billing process
- Maintain drawing log and ensure site personnel are working from the up-to-date plan
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop a project site logistics plan
- Track material procurement
- Monitor job-site safety
- Ensure project meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain client and subcontractor relationships
Profile
2+ years of experience working for a general contractor
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
- Experience with projects with contract value of $5M+
- Experience in multifamily housing, especially affordable housing, is preferred
- Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team
- Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
Job Offer
- Base salary: $70 - $90k, dependent on experience
- Bonus earning potential
