Design Quality Engineer
The Design Quality Engineer ensures that aerospace‑grade connectors meet strict quality and regulatory standards throughout the design and development lifecycle. This role leads design assurance activities, supports testing and qualification, and partners with cross‑functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance.

Description
- Lead design assurance activities to ensure connector products meet aerospace quality and regulatory standards.
- Conduct DFMEA and support PFMEA to identify and mitigate design and process risks.
- Develop qualification plans and support environmental and mechanical testing for new and existing products.
- Drive root‑cause investigations and implement CAPAs for design‑related issues.
- Participate in design reviews and maintain quality plans, inspection instructions, and control plans.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers on technical quality matters and support audits as needed.
Profile
A successful Design Quality Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years in quality or design engineering (preferably aerospace or electromechanical components).
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and aerospace quality systems.
- Skilled with FMEA, 8D, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP.
- Able to read drawings (GD&T), specs, and electrical schematics.
- Experience with environmental/mechanical testing (thermal cycling, vibration, etc.).
