Healthcare Superintendent - Ground-Up & Interior Buildouts
We're hiring a Superintendent for a top General Contractor in Fort Lauderdale specializing in ground-up and renovation healthcare projects. You'll lead field operations on medical offices, clinics, and VA hospitals, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.

Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong foothold in South Florida's healthcare construction sector. With a portfolio that includes medical office buildings, surgery centers, and veteran hospital projects, they're known for quality craftsmanship, compliance expertise, and long-standing client relationships across the healthcare industry.
Description
Manage day-to-day field operations for healthcare construction projects (both new builds and renovations).
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Ensure strict adherence to AHCA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards specific to medical facilities.
Lead jobsite safety meetings and oversee compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain detailed site logs, schedules, and progress reports.
Troubleshoot issues on-site and proactively resolve delays or conflicts.
Profile
5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction, ideally focused on healthcare projects.
Strong understanding of AHCA regulations and healthcare-specific construction standards.
Proven track record leading ground-up and renovation projects in occupied or sensitive environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, owners, and subcontractors.
Highly organized, safety-focused, and proactive in problem-solving.
