Description

The Quality Manager responsibilities include:

• Oversee and perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
• Review customer contracts and technical requirements for compliance.
• Manage internal and external non-conformances, implementing preventative and corrective actions.
• Mentor and train direct reports on inspection methods and quality metrics.
• Maintain the calibration system for inspection devices and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Administer internal audits and maintain documentation for inspection techniques.
• Lead management quality review meetings and execute the internal audit schedule.
• Track vendor performance metrics and maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Hold final authority for resolving all quality-related issues.

Profile

The Successful Quality Manager will:

• Detail-Oriented: Possesses a trained eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in inspections and quality processes.
• Experienced Leader: Over 5 years of supervisory experience in quality management within aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in Standards: In-depth understanding of quality standards and metrology, particularly AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in model-based definition software (CATIA, PC-DMIS, Net-Inspect, Discus) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong Mentor: Ability to effectively train and guide team members in quality inspection methods.
• Problem Solver: Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues to enhance organizational performance.
• Communicative: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
