AP/AR Specialist
Our client, a well-established manufacturing corporation based in Chicago, is looking for an AP/AR Specialist. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate will be immediately available to start a new role.
Client Details
A well known metal manufacturing company based in Chicago. This role is 5 days per week in office, and offers a chance to work with a leading steel manufacturer in North America.
Description
This role will involve:
- Maintain payables control: post invoices, prepare checks, reconcile vendor statements
- Facilitate approval of non-purchase order related invoices within the automated AP framework
- Review the three way matching of purchase order related invoices
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable including posting payments and reviewing customer agings
- Create debit memos as necessary for customer accounts
- Work within customer vendor portals to contest any customer credits taken as a result of fines, shipping errors, etc.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 3 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable
- Experience in multiple ERP, AP/AR application software
