Sales and Marketing Manager - Refractory Metal - Franklin MA

Seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our clients' efforts in promoting and selling refractory metals, including tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, and niobium. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in various industries such as aerospace, energy, automotive, and electronics.

Client Details

Our client is an international manufacturer of refractory metals with world-class production facilities in 12 different countries. They are growing their US-based sales team and are looking to grow refractory metals sales across new and existing customers in the aerospace & defense, mobility, and energy & technology industries.

Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding material selection and applications.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Design and implement marketing strategies to promote refractory metals and their applications.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Manage trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the refractory metals, materials, or metallurgical industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
  • In-depth knowledge of refractory metals and their industrial applications.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and marketing tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
