M&A Associate Attorney
This role involves advising on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions, including private equity and private target deals. You will work closely with experienced deal teams in a supportive, client‑focused environment committed to high‑quality execution.

Description
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and documentation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client objectives.
- Work closely with senior attorneys to develop and implement legal strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting the industry.
- Support business development initiatives and client relationship management.

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- Strong knowledge of mergers and acquisitions law and practices.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Illinois State Bar.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
