Plant Manager
This Plant Manager role oversees all aspects of daily food manufacturing operations, driving productivity, quality, and compliance while leading cross-functional teams. The position requires a hands-on leader with strong lean manufacturing expertise and a track record of improving performance and developing team capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Description
- Oversee all aspects of daily production, ensuring productivity, minimal waste, and schedule adherence
- Track and analyze KPIs, establish plant goals, and implement long-term strategic initiatives
- Maintain equipment functionality and operational readiness
- Ensure job-specific training and cross-functional team development
- Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across all departments
- Uphold strict compliance with USDA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, SOP, OSHA, and other relevant standards
- Conduct regular team meetings and trainings for supervisors and leads
- Partner with HR on employee development and performance management
- Collaborate with sales and costing teams to ensure product profitability
- Lead and support company budgeting efforts within operations
- Coordinate with QA and Sanitation teams to uphold product safety and quality
Profile
- 5+ yrs in a Plant Manager role within food manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of safety and labor regulations
- Lean Six Sigma belt is required
- Demonstrated formal Lean background required
- Willingness to rotate shifts as needed
- Experience with food manufacturing equipment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
