Description
- Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality control measures to maintain high construction standards.
- Communicate project progress and address any challenges with the project management team.
- Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams to achieve project goals.
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism and client satisfaction.
Profile
A successful Commercial Interiors Construction Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience running commercial interior or renovation projects in NYC.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with hands-on technical knowledge.
- OSHA 30 certified; proficient with project management and reporting tools.
- Proven record delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to high standards.
