Description

As the Estimator, you will lead all estimating and preconstruction efforts, reporting directly to the President and collaborating with the VP and CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new construction and renovation projects
• Manage bid process for 10-12 projects annually
• Collaborate with leadership on preconstruction planning and budgeting
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Support strategic growth initiatives and future leadership opportunities

Profile

You are an experienced estimator who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys working closely with leadership.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of estimating/preconstruction experience (minimum 5 years considered)
• Current experience with a General Contractor (subs acceptable in past roles)
• Minimum 3 years with a GC
• Mix of new construction & renovation projects
• Comfortable managing light bid workload (10-12 bids/year) and preconstruction tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with the President
• Must work onsite 5 days/week in Timonium, MD
