Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our civil and wastewater construction team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the project management team in overseeing the execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within the established budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Our Client is a full-service GC specializing in multiple facets of construction including Civil and Site Work, Vertical Construction, Waster/Waste water, Heavy Highway, etc. They are based in the Capital Region. Albany, NY
Description
- Assist in managing the daily operations of civil and wastewater construction projects.
- Support the project manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project tasks.
- Monitor and track project progress to ensure milestones are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Assist with budget management, cost tracking, and procurement of materials and services.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
- Attend project meetings, take notes, and ensure follow-up on assigned action items.
- Candidate should be local to Albany, NY
Profile
Construction Assistant Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil construction, wastewater infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
- General knowledge of building and construction codes
