Description

The Construction Project Engineer- Public Works- Santa Clarita role is responsible for:

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
• Monitor project progress, tracking milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure the project stays on schedule and within financial parameters.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Provide support with cost estimation, helping to track material, labor, and equipment expenses.
• Prepare and present status reports for the project manager, highlighting potential issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any project challenges or conflicts that arise, minimizing delays or disruptions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.

Profile

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Project Engineer- Public Works- Santa Clarita would be:

• 2+ years of building and construction experience
  
  
• Experience in building DSA k-12 projects and public works.
  
  
• Experience using Procore, P6, and Bluebeam

• Proven Building and construction experience

• Relevant Degree within the building and Construction field

Job Offer
