A prominent NYC-based general contractor is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts on a variety of complex commercial and residential projects. This role is critical in ensuring accurate budgeting, risk assessment, and bid strategies to support continued growth and project success.

Description

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates during all project phases

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work for bid preparation

• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing

• Collaborate with project managers and executives on value engineering and budget strategies

• Present estimates to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity

Profile

The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in estimating for general contracting or construction management, strong knowledge of NYC construction markets and trade pricing, excellent analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or Timberline.
