Sr Engineering Manager
The role available with my client is a Sr. Engineering Manager. They are looking for a candidate who has success with new product launches focused in the personal care industry.

Description
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to develop new personal care products, optimize formulations, and improve packaging and production processes.
- Implement best practices in manufacturing, automation, and process efficiency to enhance production quality and reduce costs.
- Drive sustainable engineering solutions, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly packaging innovations.
- Oversee engineering projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to FDA, GMP, and other industry regulations related to personal care product manufacturing.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to optimize material sourcing, packaging, and production capabilities.
- Partner with R&D, operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
- 8+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in personal care, cosmetics, or consumer goods manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, packaging design, and process optimization in a regulated environment.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience managing large-scale projects, from concept to commercialization.
- Familiarity with FDA, GMP, ISO, and other industry standards.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Passion for sustainable engineering solutions and environmental responsibility.
