A leading South Florida general contractor is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful delivery of commercial, institutional, and civic construction projects throughout the Miami area. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure high-quality project execution from start to finish.

Description

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, driving collaboration and accountability while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and scope.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.

  • Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and contract administration.

  • Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.

  • Foster a collaborative team environment and support junior project staff as needed.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing commercial or institutional construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of South Florida construction regulations, building codes, and permitting.

  • Proficient with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • OSHA certification preferred.
