Description
The Project Manager - Wood‑Frame Multifamily (Builder/Developer) will be responsible for:
- Managing all phases of a large‑scale wood frame multifamily project from buyout through closeout.
- Leading project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Conducting full subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, and contract execution.
- Overseeing day‑to‑day site operations in partnership with onsite field leadership and supporting project staff.
- Maintaining responsibility for overall schedule management, safety performance, quality assurance, and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinating with design teams, trade partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders to maintain project momentum and resolve issues.
- Ensuring timely permitting, inspections, and adherence to jurisdictional requirements.
- Driving the successful delivery of a 200+ unit, 5‑over‑2 wood frame multifamily development, meeting established goals for safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
Profile
A successful Project Manager - Wood‑Frame Multifamily (Builder/Developer) should have:
- Approximately 5 years of experience managing ground‑up construction projects as a Project Manager.
- The ability to independently run all aspects of large‑scale projects, including buyout, budgeting, and cost management.
- Proven experience delivering new construction woodframe multifamily developments, ideally 200+ units.
- Strong understanding of schedules, cost control, subcontractor management, and construction best practices.
- Experience coordinating with field teams, design partners, trade contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to oversee multiple team members.
- A track record of maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and project performance.
- The capability to manage a complex, high‑value development such as a large 5‑over‑2 podium woodframe project.
Job Offer
The Project Manager - Wood‑Frame Multifamily (Builder/Developer) will receive:
- Base salary up to $150,000
- 20% annual bonus target, weighted:
- 70% on safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance
- 30% discretionary
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Travel expense reimbursement
