My client is a leader in the construction industry, specializing in Build-to-Suit, Flex/Industrial, Institutional, Distribution Centers, Low-rise Office, Retail, Tenant Interiors, Re-positioning, and Specialty construction. They handle a range of projects, mostly under $20M in value, across Northern Virginia, the 495 Beltway, and parts of Maryland. Their company culture is built on ambition, interaction, and loyalty. Description
My client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in interior renovation projects.
- Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance of construction properties.
- Schedule and supervise contractors and maintenance staff.
- Ensure properties comply with safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare and manage property budgets and financial reports.
- Collect rent and manage accounts receivable.
- Oversee property expenses and accounts payable.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all properties.
- Coordinate property inspections and audits.
- Oversee construction projects related to property improvements.
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Manage time lines, budgets, and resources for property-related construction projects.
Profile
- Experience for commercial construction projects
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management/Building Construction or equivalent construction field experience
- Preferred Skills: Procore and P6 Scheduling
- Can manage interior and new construction projects up to 50M+ in value
- Excellent management skills in budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Ability to coordinate and lead diverse teams, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Skilled in adapting to changing project requirements and conditions
