Construction Manager- Commercial Developer
An established, design-driven real estate development firm is seeking a Construction Manager to lead high-quality Class A office tenant improvement (TI) projects within a premier commercial portfolio.

Description
Lease Compliance & Owner Representation
- Ensure all tenant construction activities comply fully with lease terms and approved documentation
- Identify and resolve non-compliant work early in coordination with tenants, contractors, legal, and property management teams
- Represent ownership during tenant interior construction
- Maintain strong working knowledge of Class A office leases, including work letters, construction standards, design criteria, approval rights, allowances, and restoration obligations
Plan, Design & Schedule Review
- Review drawings, specifications, and finish selections for consistency with building standards and design intent
- Confirm proposed work does not negatively impact building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) or shared infrastructure
- Safeguard long-term asset value and tenant experience
Tenant & Contractor Liaison
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for tenants and their general contractors during construction
- Coordinate build-outs with property management, building engineers, security, janitorial teams, and neighboring tenants
- Facilitate clear communication across all stakeholders
- Review and validate tenant improvement allowance (TIA) reimbursement requests for lease compliance and eligibili
Profile
- Significant experience in construction management, project engineering, or project management
- Background with interior general contractors or real estate developers required
- Demonstrated success delivering high-end Class A office TI projects
- Strong technical knowledge of interior construction, MEP systems, and high-finish detailing
- Proactive, self-directed professional who can anticipate challenges and drive solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Job Offer
- Competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $165,000 USD.
