Manufacturing Engineer | Machining | Wheeling, IL
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving automated systems, tools, and processes for production efficiency. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while continuously optimizing manufacturing workflows.

Description
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods.
- Programming new, custom projects (in MasterCAM).
- Assisting in the design and improvement of production facilities.
- Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinating with design engineering and other departments to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of all manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring compliance with industry safety and production standards.
- Providing training and guidance to manufacturing staff as needed.

Profile
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.
