Maintenance & Facilities Lead (Protein Manufacturing)

The supervisor will oversee all maintenance activities for production equipment, refrigeration systems, facility utilities, and supporting infrastructure. Description

* Lead daily maintenance activities for production lines, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructure

* Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure accurate documentation

* Partner closely with Operations to minimize downtime and support production goals

* Oversee facility utilities including refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and water systems

* Engage contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and capital projects

* Drive lean improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

* Enforce safety protocols in a cold, labor‑intensive production environment

* Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and food‑safety standards

Profile

* 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing, specifically protein processing and manufacturing

* 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience

* Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; PLC experience a plus

* Proven success in lean, high‑volume, or 24/7 operations

* Ability to excel in a fast‑moving, urgency‑driven culture
