Quality Manager- Aerospace- Laconia NH
As the Quality Manager you will be a transformational leader to manage quality personnel, drive internal and delivered quality improvements, and prepare the organization for ISO and AS audits through effective quality system management and advancement of a Certified Operator Program. The role Quality Manager requires expertise in international quality regulations, strategic planning, and implementing initiatives that enhance compliance and performance.

A premier manufacturing facility located in Laconia, NH, employs over 450 professionals in a climate-controlled environment. The facility specializes in producing high-precision spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies, and other intricate metal components for the aerospace sector.
Description
Key responsibilities for Quality Manager include resolving customer concerns, ensuring compliance with quality standards, addressing quality issues on the production floor, overseeing corrective actions, and preparing for audits and industry evaluations. This role also involves maintaining certifications such as AS9100 and working collaboratively across departments to drive improvements in internal processes and product quality.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences is required.
- Experience in Quality Assurance within aerospace component manufacturing or a technology-focused Continuous Improvement environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, professional development initiatives, 6S methodologies, and root cause analysis is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in PC-based applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is required.
