Assistant Project Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager you will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects, assisting with planning, scheduling, and budgeting tasks. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Our client is one of the leading Commercial builders in the Midwest, They were founded in 2003 and have only continued to see steady growth since. They currently build in 6 different state while servicing a vast range of project types such as casinos, healthcare clinics, hotels, retail stores, offices etc.
Description
- Completes materials 'take-offs' and establishes cost estimates
- Reviews project proposal, drawings and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
- Develops relationships with subcontractors and maintains lists of subcontractors that perform quality work
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Prepares daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
- Dictates or prepares project reports for management, client, or others
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
Profile
- 2+ years of construction experience
- Strong background in Multifamily Commercial Construction
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The desire to grow their career professionally
- The desire to drive the growth of a highly reputable General Contractor
- The desire to mentor some of the younger Project Managers
- Strong track record with client relationships

- Base salary of $80,000-$100,000, depending on experience
