Multifamily Project Manager

The client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage the construction of ground-up wood frame multifamily residential projects.

Description

• Lead and manage all aspects of the construction project from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations, including coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Develop, track, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, design teams, and field operations.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety protocols.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and progress reports.
• Manage project budgets, tracking costs, and controlling expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to maintain project flow.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience managing ground-up wood frame multifamily construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting techniques.
